Manufacturers of firearms in the United States present information about producing firearms. The government estimated the quantity of guns owned by citizens in the United States as 300 million in 2010. One third of this amount is handguns, which means they can be carried anywhere and by anyone without revealing the gun.


The Journal of Quantitative Criminology has estimated that in 2000 almost one million cases of gun usewere recorded in self-defense situations.


U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has conducted a survey 1994 which showed that almost 500,000 times guns were used by American citizens to frighten criminals that tried to break into their homes.


Gun shows are very popular in the United States. They are aimed to display guns and their capabilities. Everything about guns can be learned at such show as well as trying them in action and buying.
